Friday Funny
Last night Ben decided to make a milkshake. He was peeling a banana to put in when he suddenly hollered and shot the banana across the room. A startled Joel received this explanation, "Fruit Fly." He thought it was a rather reaching joke until he realized Ben did not mean it as a joke, he literally had gotten a fruit fly in the eye! They were chortling about it the whole time they made milkshakes.
The answer to yesterday's crossword is: Anna-Laura, Jeanette, and of course, Liz! Congratulations to Melinda who got them all! But equal kudos to Jennifer and Alex(can't believe you missed Liz, Alex!) for getting everybody but Liz. The question WAS subjective, it is kind of up to the individual whether Liz is missing, since I did not give birth to her!

Hey, thanks for your sweet comments this week regarding the adoption. What a week! She has SUCH a story, I wish I could share every detail with everyone. God is in it.
It's so strange that although our story has come to an end (and a beginning!) there are still many babies still in those orphanages, waiting to be adopted, and many mommies who may be sad from their loss... God is so big to be in so many details, and so many hearts and lives, all at once. And He is so very good at the same time.
And what is up with chortling? Are you still trying to increase the reading level on your Blog? :)
AS a matter of fact, NO. I love the word chortling. It even SOUNDS like what they were doing. Is that called onamatapeia? I can't even spell it!
I gave up on the readability thing.
